The basic gameplay loop is entirely based on drag and release mechanisms, which provides a pleasant sense of physically controlling the ball’s direction. There is no time constraint in Quarterback. You can see where the receivers, wheels, or obstacles are, change the angle of your drag, release, and watch the physics happen. The negative could be that some adrenaline addicts will find the absence of a ticking clock too slow for the frantic rush of a live football scramble. Still, the joy of properly calculating a tough multi-target shot makes for a wonderfully gratifying loop
